I'm curious what titles everyone is waiting for on the Wii.

At the moment I have pre-orders for:

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles

What about you guys?
 
Well I'm watching a review video now. Will have to see what I think.

Watched the video over at game trailers. The game does nothing for me. Far better FPSs I could play on the pc tbh.

Play Super Metroid (Metroid 3) on the SNES. You can buy it for the Wii's Virtual Console for about £5. It's the best in the series.

You can't tell what a game plays like from a video, you're probably just looking at the graphics. ;) Although it's from a first-person perspective, the Prime series is far more of an action adventure (like Metroid 1/3). Until you've played a Metroid game you won't understand the incredible level of atmosphere and immersion the series provides - you're missing out.
 
I have Paper Mario, which I should have at the end of the week, Mario Galaxy and Metriod. I may add Umbrella Chronicles to that list.

Off topic: I just Madden 08 from Lovefilm. Very good controls but takes a bit getting used to. I was chucking my arms all over the place, when subtlety does fine.

How do you know they are far better without actually playing it?
 
Not worth starting a new thread... but all those who own a wii should get 'Dynamite Heady' on the virtual console.... its unbelievably good...

Got 8.0 on gamespot, which is pretty amazing considering.
 
I don't tend to pre-order games. I'd rather wait for reviews and my local Morrisons seems to beat all online stores for prices (£33 for the Xbox 360 version of Bioshock!).

Well I'm not going to buy the game just to see how it plays so I'll settle for the video review that I didn't like. I'm both an FPS and adventure fan and from what I've seen and read this isn't the game for me.

I may try out Super Metroid, but it'll have to go after Sonic 2, DK and Altered Beast :D

I will pre-order Mario Kart but it's a bit far off at the moment.
 
Lot of games I would like on the Wii, but I don’t see the point in pre ordering games until they are about to be released, games very rarely sell out.

True but I'd order them on release anyway so at least this way I can clock watch and get excited over them, knowing they'll be making their way to me ASAP :D
