sorry another urgent thread, i was thinking and maybe i can stretch 200 more for the ati 2900 512mb card ocuk have on atm. am i going to see a huge difference compared to my xt1950xtx ??

if i am can someone give me some info and i might as well buy one today and hopefully it will come with my order i have already made if i am not too late

Yes, large increase maybe not huge.

All depends on what res your screen is, if for example you game at 1280x1024 or 1440x900, then I wont really notice a great performance difference when playing (only in benchmarks)

i use a 1290x1024 but also a 32" hdtv at 1080p res as my gamming monitor ???

Most 32" HDTVs have a res of 1366x768.

so will i see a big difference on games like bioshock? crysis? cod 4? bf2142?

bought 2 bay adaptors, will take out the hard drive slots on the shark case and it all fits

. My m8 had the 1900XTX, bought a BFG 8800GTX when they got released and then got another one for SLi 2 months later. He can't remember having top end equipment for so long and is blown away with it and he's quite hard to please. Still even today and he's loaded so money isn't a problem. Just forking out £400 - £500 for a card then for something newer coming out so soon as we are all used to that kind of market. The last year and maybe the next 6 months and still the GTX is king.

You will have some fun. Please report back to see how much has changed for you.

AFAIK there are no 1080p 32" LCD's :confused:

the smallest one is a 37" one.

You must be confused with 1080i which is possible on a 720p LCD but deffo not preffered.

There's a few 1080p 32" sets, the Sharp LC-32GS10, 20 and LC32D62U for example.

He thought that there was no 32" TV's that could do that resolution , you came up with at least 2 TV's that do that resolution.

Reading that would make you feel a little bit silly so I just said "make your eye's bleed" for a laugh. We all make mistakes and It's just light hearted humour

Oh I see, Amsterdam. Afaik, Sharp are only people offering 32" 1080p sets and they're relatively new so it's not surprising that a lot of people think such a thing isn't available.

ther are 100's of 32" doing 1080p. well they maybe unknown chineese makes such as dgim but they are there

Is your psu up to the 2900?
