Crashed Helicopter registered to Colin McRae

Such a shock to hear this.:(

An immense rally driver and a top bloke.

Makes it more horrifying that it was a twin engine helicopter,used by the police, that can easily run on one engine :(

RIP to one of the greatest names in motorsport. He was a legend, and will be sorely missed by many people. Very sad to hear his son may have died along with him as well, condolences to the family.

One of my friends was at a party at Colin's house a good few years ago, he was confined to a wheel chair but he and his brother still managed to have wheel chair races around the house - incredibly competative family but extremely close too.

The man is a legend, unbelievably talented driver. Rest in peace :(
 
genuinely in shock, he was a great if not the greatest we've ever had.

Seems as though it is 100% definately as him, else he would have released a statement, or held his hands up and said "it wasn't me" the crash happened nearly 19 hours ago now.

RIP Colin.
