So there we have it a nicely cut down 2900XT and at the price of around £170 it could be a great value bit of kit :) And yes I will be getting one of these!

Wow...its just a downclocked 2900xt :/ which can easily be clocked to 2900xt speeds but probably not that much higher...still its an absolute steal.

I think even a 256-bit interface wont be a problem either, wont limit too badly if it ended up like that! But I read 512-bit and though....excellent! I was looking for an hd2900xt on the cheap but I think this is the road im heading on now!

You say it can be clocked to xt speeds but what if it only has one PCIE power connector, limiting any decent overclocks.

Do you not think that may be just enought to take it close to XT levels mate ;) I think managing to clock it close to an XT at stock would be very interesting!

Just realised that OCUK have got the specs spot on from the off with these cards ;) same clocks etc! Just want to know if 30th September is confirmed! :D

Well considering an XT wont function properly unless it has two PCIE cables connected and this is at stock speeds, no i don't think it would be enough. Then again they may have not even messed with the original XT design and just the clocks have changed in which case its an unbelievable bargain.

It won't just have one power connector no chance. As it is just a very slightly downclocked XT that won't knock the fact it's still going to require a ton of power which it can only get from two PCI-E pwr connections. It's most likely going to be a 8/6 Pin job just like the XT.

Least I know you had your XT working with a Hiper Type R 580w tom :P gonna be doing the same with the pro! Your right about the black box though, complete steal!

Well i guess these should work with an XT in XFIRE, i think i might pick one up in time for crysis and pray it supports XFIRE from release.

Yep they should do. Id guess the XT would just clock down to pro speeds though. Whilst in XFIRE mode. The GTS 320MB is ****ed :D

Probaiblly will be the two power connectors.

Tom what did you manage to clock you XT up to?
