not so lethal if you get a mediced heavy guy...or 2 to get it


most other classes they do rip apart mind....and can track even the over caffeineted scouts :(

Had loads of fun on this tonight. Really enjoyed playing as a soldier and on some of the tight maps the demo guy is a blast spamming away! Worst feeling ever when a spy gets you hehe :D
 
Yep was great fun.

Still can't decide which is my favourite class though, I really enjoy playing them all, apart from maybe demoman.

Can't remember who the spy was tonight but I admire your nerve, taking a few baseball bat swings and not reacting, staying in your disguise. I think my teammates may have been wondering what I was doing, I ended up taking swings at everyone trying to see who the spy was :)
 
finally got it and it crashed after a minute or 2, hopefully be able to make a back up, get onto my xp partition and install it there without needing to redownload it.
 
Last Kronin, try running it without AA, see if that helps

when i ran 1st 2 times it crashed, q6600, 2900XT, vista 32 etc etc, using MSAA and AF.

moved to 0xAA (retained AF) and using a 4:3 res, i havent crashed since, its not ideal, but itll do, ill see if the 4:3 res is essential tomorrow

its a pretty good game. It has a lot of skill to it that isn't neccersarely obvious in my opinion. All of the classes are nice too, well bar the sniper. I think he isn't that great.
 
Played it for a few hours just now on public servers.

Enjoyed it but I can imagine it is even more fun with friends.

Runs like a dream too, 1280*1024 with everything to max (AA/AF/HDR etc)

I have a fairly modest PC,

Athlon 64 3500+
2GB DDR Ram
7800GT
