Hi,

MOH airborne is raping my pc as stated in my specs...

Ok im running everything on high at 1280 x 1024 but should that matter?

I am now wondering what min specs should be for dx10 games so that the game doesnt jerk or slow down...

My cpu is constantly at 100& and it uses 1.38g of RAM...

wowowowowowwow

is that right?

Would love to get some AA in there though. Just installed tonight, any tips on getting AA? Force in drivers?

Probably have to force in drivers, but may get problems like people had with Bioshock when forcing AA...

Seems daft that on a new gfx engine, there are NO options for AA, i thought that was standard on ALL new games now...

Was quite surprised myself. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have a brand new game run with smooth edges!

Hehe, with my system at the moment, its just nice to get it running smoothly... Having any AA on aswell is just a bonus... When UT3/Crysis comes out, i'll upgrade... :)

I know what you mean, played all my games on an acer l/top for 2 years, with everything on medium at about 35-65 fps.

Loving life now:D

moh:airborne chugs a bit on mine at the settings i'm using, but its playable in single player... online i would get owned... online play you really need max frames per second... :D

Not taken it online yet, not really played it in solo yet, tbh. Pleayed the demo though, which I enjoyed.

lowered my settings to medium and its still uses 100%cpu and a little less RAM...

takes the biscuit!!! as its only dx9c...

Dyson how does your system take it? does it max it out?

MoH Airborne whores My pc too. But I managed to have it running nicely on XP. recently I installed vista, and it runs worse, but playable.

Before, I was using the normal WHQL drivers. All settings on max. and it ran slowly.. but when I went into Nvidia Control Panel, and forced on all graphics settings it ran better. Less bottleneck I suppose. But like that it was 25 FPS minimum, and only got higher after a level had been quarter/half cleared.

Now on vista it runs slightly worse, but I had to turn down Audio Quality, to Medium.

Just finished upgrading my PC last night
E6600 IP35/4GB 8800GTX(latest beta's) currently at at stock level ATM
I'm running XP SP2, till I can get a copy of vista64

my first game Installed was MOH Airborne, it runs great all maxed out 1600*1200
:D:D:D
no 3dmark06 done yet, ill try to do that tonight

how do you force AA?

Lots of people with high end rigs have had major problems with airborne. Its a bag of bolts if you ask me, ive returned my copy. I was getting good frame rates but it was playing really choppy.
If you look at the ea support forums there are pages and pages of unhappy customers.
Its hit and miss if the game works on your system or not.
Ive had the same specs as some people who can play it smooth when other peoples it chugs along.
Its not down to drivers etc etc either as extensive tests have been done.
The 100% processor usage is a bug in the game, mainly affecting dual core users.
Its been rushed out, poorly programmed and i gave up with it.

"Its been rushed out, poorly programmed and i gave up with it." - Amen to that brother.

and only 6 levels? WTF EA?

the multiplayer is awful aswel. Thank god I didn't pay for it. (didn't pirate tho, borrowed it off a mate)
