Nvdia 163.69 Drivers now whql

Here are the official 163.69 drivers for vista, XP are out shortly i think

I didn't try the last beta ones, but from these seem smoother in Bioshock and QWET.

Yeah i rekon that'll change soon though, seen as it only took 2 days for the Vista ones to go official, i thought the XP ones might have gone today.

Just lost 400 points in 3D Mark 06 with these drivers. Should I loose any sleep over it?

Nah I wouldn't. You probably lost those marks because they improve image quality a bit.

How come my previous drivers where the Beta bioshock ones end of last month. I guess 3D Mark isnt the be all and end all?

These drivers are fairly awful. Nvidia introduced a new bug in 163.44 with UK PAL CRTs and has been in every driver since. The picture is Monochrome. Its trying to use NTSC as output. As I use my PC firstly for Video via TV out and secondly for games playing, I find I cant even run Bioshock anymore, so have given up on it Nvidia can pull their socks up.

Getting a little cheesed off with Nvidia with their awful drivers and lack of feedback.

How this driver got WHQL is beyond me with this glaring bug.

Anyone else got a 7950GX2? Seems that you get some artifacts on particular games (e.g Counterstrike Source) But I found that if you reduce your mem speed by 1ghz it stops it. very very strange indeeeed!

anyone else get artifacts on some games with these drivers?
