It's OFFICIAL, Hatton WILL fight Mayweather

They were gone in seconds. As soon as they became available tried to get them but they were all gone.

Four of us are going over to Vegas anyway, booked about a month ago. We've managed to get some tickets for an alternative. Some huge cinema style screen apparantly at the MGM. $50 each and it'll be full of Brits cheering Mr Hatton on.

Would have loved to have got to the actual fight but its still going to be a mad few days :D

As much as I'd love to see that happen, he's got very little chance of doing that mate, or beating him any other way.

As for the press conference, no surprises at all, Floyd does that for every fight.
 
I wouldn't say he has little chance, I'd say it's 60/40 in favour of Mayweather, but Hatton has a superb chance. De La Hoya had Mayweather figured out and beaten in their fight, it was only Hoya's legs going that stopped him beating Mayweather. The same wouldn't happen to Hatton.

Mayweather hasn't looked on top form for a lot of his latest fights.
 
As much as id love to see Hatton win, i think this maybe a step to far. It would be a shame to see Hattons bubble burst though because he is one of the best and most decent sportsman this country has.

Do we know what channel is screening it yet? Setanta I assume?

Well y'know how some people use small weightbands around their wrists to try and build up muscle, PBF uses overly expensive wristwatches..... ;)

That picture sums up the difference in characters pretty well from what I can tell although as divaboy says I'd have expected Hatton to look a bit less chubby in the face if he was near fighting weight.

Yep very worrying , however its worked for him all of his career so maybe , chaning that now would be more worrying :confused: Who knows I just want him to spank that yank big time. A fight like Joe C and left hook lacy would go donw at treat !!!!! he he
 
Don't worry too much about his weight. I'm sure Ricky wants this with all his heart and will bring the very, very best Ricky Hatton into the ring.

I really really hope your right , i'm a huge hatton fan , just thought he'd lay off the black stuff for this one still if its worked for him before ........... fingers crossed
 
Just watched the press conference on YouTube - actually, it was less of a press conference and more of a huge public massaging of Mayweather's massive ego.

I love nothing more than seeing the arrogant brought down off their pedestals, so win, lose or draw, if nothing else I just hope Hatton gives this tart the beating of his life - broken ribs, cuts, the lot :mad: ...
 
I wouldnt worry about the weight, Ricks face is where he picks it up first, so it always looks a bit chubby, but he doesnt look to be carrying to much tbh

I cant wait for the fight, I really want rick to flatten PBF, but in all honesty, I cant see it happening - a UD is much more likely ;)

PBF can give as good as he gets (power-wise) so I think its going to be an awesome night of boxing :D - I only hope with GBP promoting that the undercard is going to be a heck of a lot better than the rest of Rickys american fights

There's not really anywhere here that's likely to show it :( And I don't have sky.
 
ive got flights for me and her and im stopping in the mgm grand for a week

we got cctv tickets for the grand ball room in the mgm grand, by all reports the atmosphere in there is gonna be amazing, like going to an england game down town X100 :cool:

im going to manchester on the train to show my support for the hitman, theres going to be a fair few thousand fans, and then im off on the p*** all day :D

im getting really excited about this fight, i just cant ******* wait
 
Go give "him" hell tommorow stinka as im sure all of manchester will do when they turn up for the presser tommorow.

Unless the world ends of dec8th there is no way im going to be anywhere else but sat in front of our big tv at home watching sky box office in the early for this fight.

Say stinka, you aren't the same person with that nick that posts on the offical hatton forums are ya?. The name just sprung to mind when seeing you post in this thread.
