Anyone going to watch Cage Rage on Sky Sports 3 tonight at 9pm?
Nice warmup till tomorrow nights UFC event.
Just started watching it, Vitor Belfort fighting and Julius Francis making his mma debut, could be interesting.

Yes but what makes him close to a title shot? Yes he beat Jardine which was a huge upset. But if you wanted to then test him you wouldnt put him in against a ex professional boxer! you would put him in with a ground specialist.
Prior to his Jardine win he has done nothing special. He lost to Jason Medina then beat the following fighters (note their records)
Jamie Webb: 6 - 23 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Chuck Purdow: 0 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Justin Butler: 1 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Brandon Quigley: 7 - 27 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Demian Decorah: 17 - 24 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Jon Murphy: 4 - 2 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
No contect with Todd Allee: 1 - 0 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw) ( 1 NC )
He has never won a fight by submission and his only loss came by a submission. Looking at his record and opponants it was obvious he was brought in to lose but by winning in an upsat and then against a strictly pro boxer he does not deserve to be anywhere near a title fight yet.
Before Jardine he hadnt fount a single guy in the top 30 and most his opponants had primerially losing records in the smaller shows!
He has a long way to go before getting a title shot.
Wouldnt you agree from this?
I'll agree with you about the doormen lookalike presenters and imho, they sort of make the show slightly tacky. If they got rid of them and had some decent presenters and talked serious then it might be taken more serious.
