HALO 3 Official Thread

Just out of curiosity did anyone get theirs delivered today?

I ordered from the store with the ladder in the logo and the funds were taken from my account either friday or saturday, is it realistic to expect it to be delivered tomorrow?

Just looked and it hasnt even been dispatched yet...

I phoned the place with the ladder in the logo also and the guy on the phone said it was just because it was 'in limbo' and processing that it didn't have a despatch date. I emailed them and it said my order would be processed and i would recieve it for day of release, and on the online chat the guy said that it would be processed and despatched and a date wouldn't appear on my order until it has actually been sent out, hope that helps some of you.

Btw i also ordered on 21/03/2007

Same with mine although they took the money out early last week but checking today, its still saying ordered with no despatch date. Not really that fussed as theres a few games that i need to finish off before hitting Halo3.
 
Mine has been posted today 1st class recorded delivery.. should get it tomorrow. :).. got mine from a place with the shop late play tomorrow motto.

I'm no longer a fan of that place in Jersey, they are so damn slow to deliver! Even when it says item posted it takes dayyyys to arrive.

They've become too popular and big now. I'd never trust them to get me a pre-order on time anymore.

I'm still contemplating buying the game. I never played Halo 1, found the SP campaign average in Halo 2 in that I only played it 3 times and never bothered after that.

After the hype surround Bioshock, I don't want to fall for another overhyped game. Granted Bioshock was superb, but it didn't meet my expectations of a large, scary game at all.

Just wondering if tesco are selling halo3 tomorrow does that mean a 24hr t*s*o will be selling at 12.01 tonight? and one able to get this info as i am at work...Nearest to me would be bradford :)

Technically they can but they've never had the games up anywhere near midnight whenever I've tried.

Why? Halo is not designed like UT2004, it is designed for 2v2/4v4 play.

More players != better game, resistance proved that.
 
16 players.

If you read bungie.net posts they do state that technically the game will support allot more players. but they wanted to keep it the same! and i personally agree also.

they said it would be like adding more members into a football team. Wouldnt realy work.

I personaly love 4v4 team slayer..my opinion tho.

With the big T company I have a big 24hour one close to me and they aren't good with getting new games in. It takes them +2weeks after the release for them to get the game.

I made the mistake on visiting then at midnight when MOH-Airborne was released, I even called them earlier in the day to ask if and when they would sell it.
I just know I shouldn't of listened to the spotty faced little girl on other end of the phone :(
