Liverpool game about to kick-off, suprised to see we've named a fairly strong line-up:

Itandje
Finnan, Carragher, Arbeloa, Aurelio
Benayoun, Lucas, Sissoko, Leto
Crouch, Torres

Maybe Rafa's remembering how quick we went out of the FA and League cup's last season? Combine that with us missing Torres' edge at the weekend and so he's taking no/few chances tonight?

I'm waiting for Torres to do something, he doesnt seem to be getting much change out of Readings defence.
Mind you he's partnered with Crouch who is getting beaten at every thing in the air by the giants among men that are Bikey and Dubbery.

Torres is getting some right treatment off the Reading lads :p

its a ****ing joke, every time he gets the ball there kicking lumps out of him.

The ref's been a joke too, barely gave us a free-kick considering the treatment Torres has been getting and the Reading goal was crazy too.

Nice open game I thought, thou Liverpool's defending is a bit iffy. Reading is freely getting to the by line and making crosses without much effort, if only the final ball is better. Torres has been bright in the first half, Crouch has been non existent.

Can't believe no Reading players got at least one yellow card in that half, they were all over Torres.

Bikey's lucky to still be on the pitch, plenty of his challenges (and there's been plenty) were worthy of a booking but practically none have even brought about a foul
