Girls and shoes?

I must admit I have a wee thing for shoes, accessories and clothing....but that's just me! :p

I tell you one thing though, girls love a bargain! Our sale department at work gets pulled to bits everyday. All I ever hear is "student discount?!!?", even if their only getting 10p off, they MUST still have it. It's the same with every other kind of discount. I had a women come in today and ask me if her shoes had went into the sale(she bought them last month), just so's she could get them refunded down to the sale price. :o

They do my head in when it comes to shopping for clothes.

I havent read all the replies, but I agree with these 2 replies totally.

I also think that people in general, want to look attractive. No one (even most men) wouldnt wear a torn white t-shirt with holes in it, smelling of yesterdays dinner. They would have a wash, possibly a shave, wear decent clothing that they believe they look (at least) 'ok' in. Women are the same, in that they want to look good; and wearing nice shoes with nice clothing allows them to achieve this.

Shoes on a woman (and a man) are very important.
 
One of my coworkers has spent a couple of grand on shoes. That's rather a lot considering we take home about £180 a week. He also buys £40 T-shirts, stuff like that. Or, to be more accurate, £10 T-shirts that sell for £40 because they have the "right" logo on them.

Half a week's pay on a pair of shoes that he might wear once a year and which looked a bit worn out when he bought them. They're new - they're meant to look a bit worn out.

So it isn't only women who do this. Maybe in the future it will be mostly men again, like the fops in Elizabethan(?) times.

I wouldn't marry then.... unless sex isn't at all important to you. The 18 months leading upto and including the honeymoon is the best time for a bit of whoopee...
