Mornington Crescent

I'd like to play Woolwich Arsenal but as it hasn't been built yet can I jump directly to page 15 of this thread ???

Of course since this years problems at Carnival, Notting hill has been frowned upon under the amendment to the 2nd edition rules, section 3i Clauses 15-236

As such I will have to make a move now, begrudgingly, to Pentonville Road !

ps: think next time people...THINK!

Ps: Mrgubby can envoke the mobius theorm strategy and can indeed jump to page 15 of this thread, however he may find that time becomes a loop and he gets stuck at Dollis Hill......

OOPS!

OOPS!

HA , can't get me with that !!!

I've got an Oyster Card :D

I envoke senokot, therefore all passengers head straight to Waterloo. Those passengers who don't abide suffer explosive overdose from the secondary colour "Brown".

[I'm Sorry I Haven't A] Clue is probably the best comedy on any broadcast media ever. [...]

Sometimes not even the awesome thread-halting power of "Q F T" is enough.

Has anyone mentioned "Fairlop" yet? I'm not putting that forward as a move; it's just that it's always been my favourite :)

[EDIT: And while Chubby Brown's humour is not my cup of tea, I do recognise his talent as a standup - and his appearance in The League Of Gentlemen creases me up every time.]

[EDIT 2: Yes, Andrew_McP, I miss Mr Rushton, too :( Christ, I'm getting like Angus with all these brackets...]

Considering a Mobius loop has already been played, this brings into action the third version of the Gallifrey ruleset, & therefore I play Goodge Street.

Oh no, didn't that get put in for an amendment last year?

I've just checked and you've invoked the Forbes-Smithen rules. Which means you must post two stations in each go unless you have a letter in your name or have seen a squirrel in the past year.

For my go (and I have seen a squirrel two weeks ago) I have decided that, unless someone has an objection under the Binary Expulsion ruleset, I will return to the original station:

Paddington.

Under the Pinkney-Wallis ruling you have just imparted the change of country scenario, and thus we move to Union Station, Toronto.

I'm sorry to have to impart this ruling, but if it is not called then we all face delays caused by the 'leaves on track' conundrum, brought about in section 42, paragraph c, statement iii of the second edition, third print, rules

Oh no, I've never been to hot on my foreign stations...

Still, I'm pretty sure that Thunder Bay is a pretty good move, cutting off your laterals.

I know this is somewhat unconventional given the last move, but I'm going to play Marble Arch.

Blimey, that is unconventional given the last move. I haven't seen a move like that since the early 80's when the trend for a more 'avant garde' style of playing was adopted. Naturally, like any fad, that trend moved on and I am glad to say my playing style leans toward the more traditional. Hence, I play Tooting Bec.

Good move above, taking the von Behrmann principle, I think that was a blinding success in 1991. In response to that, I'm taking a more conventional method:

Totteridge & Whetstone

Whats with everyone suddenly being conventional all of a sudden?

I'm invoking street level rules for 13 moves, though it does mean that national monuments score double.
So I'll go Winsor

Well, he's had the regulation hour to correct his move, so I'm going to invoke the "Cockfosters ****-up" rule and take his turn in his stead.

I shall play London Bridge, which should be a valid wildcard under this ruleset. I score double points for a National Monument and an extra 5 points because all the words in the station name are the same length.
