Is anyone with them and know how much it costs? Their website just says they make the package suit the person. All I would want it gym membership and maybe the pool. Anyone have a similar plan?:)

me 2, altho ive been to the gym and you really cant complain if you have to have a 5 minute convo to get a quote, the gym equipment is high tech (altho i prefer my old school weights) relaxation area is something else tho

ours has 2 swimming pools (indoor&out), 3 saunas (2 inside at diff temps and an outside woodhouse) a steam room, ice cold plunge pool, plenty of showers and a giant pool with 5 areas, one being a jacuzzi, and 4 being similar things! worth the money just for that place i love it

:D ooh yes i do

 Where are you?

In Preston the Virgin gym is £49 per month on a month-to-month basis, and £46 per month via DD ( 12 month contract )

I'm at Virgin Active in Nottingham. It used to be a Holmes Place, but Virgin took over them.

The standard contract is around £52 - £60 a month depending on which package you choose, however I went through Pru Health insurance and got it for £25 a month.

After various discounts it worked out at £31 a month including the premium for the health insurance.

I'm a member at the Leeds (Kirkstall Road) one.

It's £52/month peak, £38/month off peak.

If you join the one that's near the LGI it's cheaper, but nowhere near as nice.

The Kirkstall one is the one I was thinking of joining. What do you mean by peak and off peak. I presume off peak you can only go during the day?

Also how do you like the place/facilities? :)

Off peak is (I think) from 6am - 2pm then 9pm - midnight during the week. Then 12am - 9pm at weekends.

It's a pretty good place, lots of cardio, but as with most big chain gyms the weights section is a little on the sparse side. The pool is pretty good and it has an amazingly good spa/relaxation area.

I was a member at Esporta before this and I definitely prefer Virgin, just seems cleaner and more modern.

A I see thanks! Sounds pretty good although I must say I don't like the thought of being limited as to when I can go. Sometimes I may want to go straight after work and other times during the day say if I had a day off or something.
