low 3dmark score ?

Well i finally got my 8800 ultra at a very nice 250 quid off a mate :D even thou i had to sell my 2900xt for 130 quid just go get rid of it.

Anyway im only scoring just under 12k in 3dmark 06, does this score seem low or about right to you guys ?

rest of spec in sig oh btw im using vista64.

You should be getting around 13K with it... you can "just under 12K" with an overclocked GTS.

Thought: You do have FSAA and AF off when running 3D Marks 06 yeah?
 
You could have sold your old XT on the members market for about £170ish (more if 1024mb version)!

Your score does seem low for an ultra. Have you used Driver Cleaner to get rid of all the old ATI files?

Whats your gfx scores on 3dmark06?

I only ask cause I get 10,000 with my oc 8800 GTS 320Mb but that's on a amd dual core system so my score is crippled due to the cpu skew on 3dmark06.
 
Surely you should be setting it to quality not performance. Graphics looked bloody terrible on performance setting?
