Steam won't let me buy the Orange Box?? Noooo

Wondering if anybody else is having this problem? Basically I've tried both a Mastercard Credit Card, Visa Debit card and buying with both cards through Paypal and it just won't let me buy the Orange Box. Ack. Keeps saying card declined (for the cards) or Authorization Failure (for paypal)

I've used the cards on facebook, to renew my zonealarm subscription and on Amazon since getting the error messages in Steam and all these purchases went through fine. Yet I just tried to get the Orange Box again and no dice. Anybody else getting this?

Hmm, not sure. Can't say I had any problems. I bought it using my Visa credit card last night, and it went through fine.

I've had this issue with my visa and steam a few times, in the end I emailed support and they got back very quickly, apparenty it was some thing to do with the address I entered not matching to the address my bank had stored. Turned out it was because I didn't use capitals.

Make sure the address your using exactely matchs the address on the top of you monthly statements.

Also, if you're using flat numbers make sure it's all on the one line rather than seperated out as I got caught out by that at first.

Is there a way of getting TF2 by itself?

Not yet as it's part of the Orange box bundle. Expect TF2 on it's own come release day.

Steams server cap of about 10 is probably reached and overloaded. Go on at like 4:30am in the morning and you might get lucky. I hate the way steam works, but when it does its great !

It's probably as you're purchasing it from America and the credit card company has flagged this up as dodgy. Phone them!
