I would however like the avatar I asked for many moons ago, although I wouldn't want it to be available as a standard female avatar
Female pics as a rule are not a good idea imo as even though the girls would have a choice, there are fair too many people that would take the micky and ruin for us.

Or not bothering to reply at all - this would be really useful actually - since a lot of spam posts tend to be people angry at being subjected at what they perceive as a homo-erotic thread.
You can already do that? It's under "Visible Post Elements", no? As long as it remains possible I don't mind so much if changes are made.
Level of moderation is good, bit more transparency perhaps? Although I doubt were missing anything interesting.
The MM, only an occasional user myself, but still plenty of good trades over the years. Is it really that bad atm? Surely nothing a bit of common sense wouldn't solve?
Edit them to blank then rtm for deletion? Needing to delete your own posts isn't a problem I've encountered on forums.
in a busy multi paged thread sometimes its annoying to locate your post to see if any replies. it would be good to implement a way to let you know what page you posted on , just like you get to know what threads you have posted in.
oh and get rid of the white line above the sigs ,, that is my single most annoyance with forum.

agreed - but I think there is probably already a feature for this.. but it would be nice for your last post to be highlighted in orange or the number of the page to be highlighted

I think it's pretty good... although, being of a more "relaxed" nature, i thinka relaxation on more "common" swearies is in order... not the big ones (F, S, C etc...), but things like....

there is a button to take you to your first unread post already. if you are looking for your last post and its a very busy thread with lots of pages, do a search returning posts rather than threads :]
