Id be up for a LAN party, if you can put up with someone my age (15, 16 in feb) and all :(

Unfortunately it would be 18s and over as before for many reasons (your safety and the fact that no one will want to supervise you). Sorry.

Back to the party... I'd be interested but knowing my previous attempts I can arrange everything then have something appear to prevent me travelling (last time it was my ex-car).
Now I have a new car this won't be a problem.. more likely it'll clash with a christmas bash, my birthday bash or I end up travelling for work.

So I'm interested.. based around Reading.

Plenty of room for a roof party! :p

As for timing, I'm thinking either the weekend of 22-23rd Feb or 29th-1st March, with maybe the option for people to come down on the friday if they can :)

I am up for a meet, can either get a train there or if some one in Essex is going I can catch a lift.
Pretty much open to most places

Im sure that my parents would sign anything saying that im responsible for myself, they're not exactly going to blame someone if i get drunk and jump off a roof. They'll probably just laugh at me :(

I don't see why people can't go to a pub that accepts under-18s...
For one, even if I was over 18, I wouldn't be drinking alcohol anyway. You people must know that there is no such thing as a 'stereotypical teenager'. Every teen is different, as is every adult.

This might not be my place given my recent reappearance but having organised a few of these in the past. I would give the following advice

Someone needs to take the initiative and state date and location
Once that is stated it shouldn't be changed
The agenda can be discussed but should be set reasonably soon after the thread starts
Make it over 18s if you are going to be drinking
Meets that are more than one night are good fun but require more notice for people to arrange accommodation and holiday
Meets of more than 3 days need a specified organiser and someone to look after buying food etc (these are only for the advance organiser ;)) The BBQs were great fun to do but took a lot of organisation and bulk food buying etc.

But the main thing is; set a date and a place and DO NOT change it, there will always be people who will be disappointed and can't come but reorganising to accommodate will result in annoying people who already said they would come and now found out they can't :D

Good Luck, meets are one of the most satisfying things to do when they work and you get to make solid IRL friends, I met some of my best friends through the original OcUK meets and over the last year have organised meets in France and all over the country :)
