Picasso Or Zafira

Estate cars are USELESS when it comes to fitting 3 kids in the back ie 2 child seats, they havnt got the width, they are no bigger seating wise then a decent sized hatch.

No you're right, the extra 3cm width from the Mondeo Estate to the Zafira will help no end :/

And the Picasso is 20cm NARROWER than the Mondeo.

its the way that the seats are arranged

in the modeo you sit too far inwards, effectively only given 2 fullsize rear seats due to the dip on the outer edges of the outer seats

you try and fit 3 car seats in a modeo and you'll see what we mean.
 
The only POSSIBLE way the picasso will feel wider inside is if the doors are made of tracing paper and have no sound deadening/interior qualit... oh.

Odd how they dont manage to fit three of those seats in the front, or even have a gap the width of a seat between the two fronts... could that be *shock horror* that the rear seats AREN'T AS WIDE as normal car seats, I think it is!

We had TWO adults in the back of a picasso, and I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted someone sat inbetween us.
 
but thats the point

you dont have 3 adults in the back of a picasso. its a family car, so it will most likely have 2/3 kids in the back.
 
You're missing my point. You can EASILY fit THREE adults in the back of the Mondeo, so how in hell can you argue that its smaller :/

All im going to say is you cant get 3 car seats (the upto 4 years ones) in them due to the middle seat having closer belt points

i fully intend to once young un is a bit older

and crucially so am i (less points, more ncb, discount for being >25 :D)
 
Someone without kids, doesnt have any contact with car seats, DOESNT have a clue what we are talking about.
 
I'm thinking of phoning Childline and putting in a retrospective claim. We only had a mk2 Escort when were were kids so I must be scarred somehow. :(
 
We had a Mk1 Passat. It had houndstooth cloth seats which still give me nightmares and made a wierd booming noise in the back at dead on 60mph.

What's the Childline number again?

Back on topic - Fiat Multipla for the win. Unrivalled praticality for those who want a breedwagon and a proper 3 wide layout.
