SoF3: PayBack

OMG :D

Played SOF2 for 3 1/2 years almost constantly, the MP was frigging amazing and the IRC community was great.

Played against 4K and got my ass handed to me on the office map iirc

Cant wait, games have been so crap since i stopped playing SOF2

if it comes out the morning it does ill be standing outside the shop waiting for them to open. None of this online poop. I want people to see me buying it

i have sof1 and love it, wont go play it now though gfx are dated. i want sof2 however!

get sof2 and play on terror clan servers. They used to be the best, might go on one now actually. so easy to join a game instead of messing around for ages in complicated menus

Terror clan on sof2 v1? lol. Best lol...

I was in the best clan in sof2, we were unbeated. SOF2 v1 went to crap though. Gold is where its at now.

Oh man, brings back memories.

SOFII to this day is the only game I have stayed up all night to play (Multiplayer, same server 5pm-8am).

Shame Raven arn't making it, I'm still waiting for them to make the next Jedi Knight game.

Oh yeah this is one of my theorys why they probly won't bother making SOF3.

Due to the fact that SOF2 was so easy to just download, there was no protection and any old cd-key you would find on the net worked there was no one cd-key to one person, there was no cheat protection either. Even though the game was so popular and the modding community was huge I don't think that they made as an expected net profit as predicted. I bought my SOF2 though, remember it came in a double pack with sof1.

Excellent hope its true

Given that the level of violence/damage model in even SOF1, how come more FPS games have not used the same level of body destruction? Was it banned or something

probably pushes their age rating up to max, publishers try to go for as low a rating as possible so their game gets to a wider audience which = more sales.

Or not. Anyone can get 18 rated games. Everyone I know, hell I don't know one person whos parents didn't prevent 18 games or movies when they were younger.

Besides only EA care about that. Tell me how does the GTA series have the biggest sales out of any game (is it? or close enough) is this all people over 18? lol.

Regardless of whether you think the age system has an affect on game sales or not, publishers try to achieve as low a rating as possible. Tell me if you are an expert in the games industry why there is an age rating system in the first place. Publishers dont think oh its ok the parents will buy the games anyway, they actually aim for a goal. Its what you do in business, not hope on variables.

Don't know if it's linked in the first post, but their is a trailer out now. :) Just a heads up if you haven't seen it yet. :)

IGN have it.

Yep, definately no gore in the trailer, then again it may be turned off in game.

Strangely though, I had to verify my age to watch it because it stated that it "Contains blood and gore"!
