Vista and NF3 OOPS!

there were beta drivers (and for nf2 i think) but they're no longer supported..

pretty annoying as the nf2 boards are still pretty quick for casual gaming (and CS) and general use

I saw some mention of that when searching, I wonder if they can be downloaded anywhere.

Seems a bit harsh like, no support for a lot of mobos out there.

I'm running Vista on a NF3 works well, just using onboard sound from the board, got BETA nVidia drivers for it..any good to you?

Can you tell me were you got the drivers please? I will be using onboard sound too and need the LAN driver as well.

I have been searching for them for hours.

Well, I only have the sound driver. My onboard LAN was automaticly installed by Vista, always has done, really. I originally got them off nVidia's website, however it doesn't seem to be there anymore.

I can email it to you, if you'd like?

Yeah, I chucked Vista32 ( Had to justify wasting my money on it somehow ) onto my sons Neo2 ( Thats an NF3 Mobo ) and it ran fine.

I have to admit, that Im sure that I never actually downloaded any drivers at all for it??? - its done any downloading itself.

Might be wrong, but I cannot for the life of me remember ever doing that?

Drivers for Vista 32 - http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_32bit_beta1.html

Drivers for Vista 64 - http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_64bit_beta1.html

You shouldn't need drivers for anything else. :)

Thanks mate. :)

The sound one worked but I think there is a fault with my onboard LAN so I installed a Netgear F311 NIC and there was a problem with the drivers for it. They installed but wouldnt load or some such thing, error 32 I think it was.

Its a shame really cos I liked it.
