OMG, my eyes fallen out by these silly mac comments! For average users who knows little about computers are better off with Mac, thats a fact!

I have many friends who have PCs, they always called me to fix their every little problems - spywares, malwares, viruses, unnecessary windows errors ("I didn't do this or that..blab blab!") and the infamous lower/upper filter ...just about every problem you have encountered with windows. I have a few friends who have Mac and they have NEVER called me about any problem and to this day, have NEVER went to the shop.

Mac OS X may not be perfect but if I were to compare it with Windows XP/Vista, it would be like comparing Japanese car to French car that broke down too easily!

Overpriced? Have a good look at the prices/specification comparison and you will see that they get what they pay for. My Macbook Pro is thinner than ANY 15" notebook and had auto screen dimmer, keyboard backlit...they seemed to be small gimmicks but really useful for everyday work and can last for years.

I used to work on my PC for many hours daily for several years until I switched to Macbook Pro and since there is no tweaking or maintaining needed with OS X, I have found myself twiddling my thumbs thinking 'what shall I do next?' - it means I don't have to stay on computer much longer than is needed with PCs. I do have PC for other purpose - Webdesign and for my nephews to play on it.

Don't spout out so much rubbish until you spend a really good hours on Mac and you will see that they're here for a PURPOSE, not just for some stupid fancy designs which you assume we would fall for!

No it's not a fact. People who know little about computers won't have any idea how to use a mac.

Auto screen dimmer? Please, even my cheap hp laptop does that. Backlight keyboard, do you have cataracts? You should really learn to touch type. Btw my 15.4" hp laptop is thinner than your macbook pro.

true beginners, are more likely to know how to use windows purely because it's more comon, but its a fairly lame remark (what barnett said) as on this forum everyone knows how to use a computer anyway.

May be easier to shove up your ass then? Do you wear thick black framed glasses btw? :p

No, it's more to do with Windows problem/spywares/malwares that users have no idea how to deal with. Maybe it is good for PC business I guess!

Won't have any idea how to use? You joking again! Any user who is capable of using Windows OS is also capable of using OS X! My friends did not have problem with Mac when they first got them.

You joking right? I have seen loads of laptops but never seen them do that! Apart from plugging off power adaptor!

Its amusing how mac users think their os is so amazingly stable, Comsidering the relatively TINY amount of software available on it compared to windows its not suprising macs have a reputation of crashing less. A reputation that was founded long before xp and vista and today is total bs.

Also take into consideration the massive amount of components all by diffferent companies, some well known some not so, driver variations etc. Windows does its job well when all thats taken into consideration. Writing software for a mac is like writing it for a console, at the heart theyre all very similar with the exception of ram, cpu speed hdd space etc. less variation less chance of it crashing.

Lol 10.3.9 wasnt amazing but its still more stable than your average xp lol

As you keep saying, yet you haven't posted anything that remotley agrees with what you are saying.

I don't see 10.4 being any better here....

and why post that we could be here all day posting windows problems including loooads from this very forum lol
To show that mac isn't as stable as you make it out to be.
