I was reading a paper today (or yesterday?) that some countries like US especially New York are planning to ban the use of trans fat in foods. It is noted for its health risk like heart disease.
It is used in choc bars such as Mars and some fast food like McDonald and Burger King because it is a cheaper way to make fat. Food manufacturers seemed to care a little for the health of people just because it's cheap!
Since food manufacturers show very little considering for the people, it should be banned or taxed (since they think it's cheap!). What's your view?
