Then he says:

The fact both of these lines are from the same interview is bad enough... but the same paragraph!?

Nokkon your reading that the wrong way. He's saying that basically he knows it has slowdown but its not that much worse than the 360.

So if the ps3 slows down to 5fps and the 360 to 10fps he's saying its not that bad (or far behind) compared to the 360. Not that the 360 is worse.

Does that make sense???

The 360 version had better not have the pausing I had in the demo or its going back.

You'll be right as we know he definitely means that the Xbox360 version is better than the PS3 version (shock).

Also, does anyone know whether the Xbox360 will still have that **** poor excuse for an online lobby system in the new one? PES6 has the single worst online search/lobby I've ever experienced in any online game, including early online PC games.

What was bad about it? You created a match waited to be challenged, or searched for a match, what else should it have done? There was no lobby really, why would you need one? Did you have problems picking a person to challenge from the list when you searched for games or something?

Whats wrong with it? I always quick searched ranked games and played friends. Never had a need for a lobby really.

I'd rather they had no lobby at all and quick matched ranked games. Otherwise the top ranks just cherry pick newbs. Let it auto match and if they quit 3-0 loss.

It was the worst place to live, not worst education... though most people around here couldn't string a correct sentance together if their lives depended on it.

Ironically, Hull came second and I was there yesterday too and let me tell you, it's infinitely worse than Middlesbrough.
Also, when in Hull yesterday (arriving back from a friends 21st in Amsterdam) I was greeted at UK passport control by a woman interested in knowing whether or not I still lived in Middlesbrough. Didn't have a clue why until I got back and saw on the local news. Cheeky cow.

Are you honestly telling me there is nothing wrong with it?! Jeez!

You search for an online opponent, it brings back between 6 and 10 opponents and quite often ALL of those are already IN A GAME. The times you get a couple who are available it takes an age then tells you that you cannot connect.

Then, should you be in game every time you get a set piece your power bars are never smooth, so it's quite the lottery as to whether you get the power correct or not. Then of course there is the pause hack which, despite annoying pretty much every single gamer online, Konami never saw it as reason enough to fix it.

I swear to God, I literally know people who could knock up a better online search system in less than a day than that used in PES6.
It was so bad I ended up breaking my version of PES6.

Absolutely shocking. If I rated it 1 out of 10 I'd be feeling generous.

Yes I am telling you that, Jeez will you bully my opinion out of me, maybe we can all think like you one day, save us all having an opinion.

I have played about 900 games online now, and never ever have I had trouble finding a game to play, or be challenged if I set up a game. I really don't know how much you have even played online, probably not much at all judging by your mis-informed opinion of how the online works. And the pause hack was fixed ages ago, but again that's just showing you really do not know the subject matter too well. Not quite sure what the power bar and pause hack have to do with the online lobby either, but hey ho!

You know I dont think there ever was a pause hack. I think the game occasionally went out of sync and you were left in a stalemate.

I tested it many times and I can tell you exactly how to get 3-0 wins using the linksys router and it doesnt involve pausing. Its not how people were doing it.

Test it yourself if you have a 54g router or similar. All you do is go to the power cable on the back of the router and whip it out and then in again as fast as you can.

It throws up the disconnect icon on the screen and boots the other player. You get then get a 3-0 win and there is no stale mate sending messages to each other.

Thats how people where doing it, the stalemate pausing was just a bug.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but there is no way anyone could rate the online search for PES6. It's shambolic.

You can be entitled to your opinion, but I am very comfortable in mine when I say you'd have to look far and wide for a worse online search and lobby system in a game.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 on the xbox?

The PC/PS2 lobbies are maybe slightly better, you create a room (this is pes6 btw), and wait for people to come in, its not perfect either, but its marginally better.

I played the Demo for a while last night, and I have to say that you do get used to it. The best thing about the new Pro is the shooting. There is much more control. I scored one of the best goals I have ever seen on a pro evo game last night. I was playing on beginner so I would have plenty of space with the ball but struck a shot with the power bar all the way to the top. It hit the cross bar then the post and went in. Yeah I know its no big deal to score against a team on beginners mode but the point was to test shooting and I have to say that I love it.

I am looking forward to this release, I think it will be an awesome game.

+'s Better on the ball control, better shooting, better UI that will do me!!!

You can create a game, define your match options, and await a challenge, or likewise search for a game with your preference and find someone waiting to be challenged, what is shambolic about it?

Was it too hard for you to create a game? or search for a game? What would they do to make it suit you? Make a lobby with 100 people in it talking trash and only playing noobs?

It did the job, i didnt have any complaints, overall, i preferred it as a package to the pc/ps2 one, having to login every time was a massive pain in the bum.

Actually, the problem was with searching games. It always came up with more people who were already IN a game than those waiting to play. What do I need those for? I can't do anything with it?
A filter would have been nice too. More details on the players record before playing would also be an improvement.

I know I had issues with joining games from when I got the game so I just hosted all my games and managed that no worries at all. I'm not really fussed about lobbys etc but I know where you're coming from joining games, Nokkon.
