Man oh man .. this is classic England .. desperate hoof it into the box .. if that bloody tactic worked then you'd play it for 90 minutes ..
 
Only positive from this is finally this clown of a manager mclaren will go.We deserved to lose absolutely shocking that we sat back on a 1-0 lead.

Why the hell wasn't Gerrard brought off if he was injured? Why was Barry letting people run by him if Gerrard was having problems? Why rugby tackle a player to the ground on the edge of the box and then belly flop over him? Why couldn't England International players retain possession for longer than 5 seconds?

More to the point how the hell did that bunch of part-time-looking players beat an England side?

Disgraceful.
 
Lescott is very poor. If P neville (who should have started) had had two games like that the country would slaughter him.

At least he got us qualified, Euro 2008 will be about as interesting as golf if we don't qualify. :(

I'm going to watch the Scotland match now, I'm sure they'll show some pride and passion...

Hardly, they were getting slaughtered by the press and by the rest of the world for being a one man team. One player that could take kicks. We tried that with beckham and look how that turned out.

The rugby team then milked the WC win for so long the actual playing of the game became secondary.

The football team dont need to take lessons from them.

So many people already calling it over. The same people who write their team off in the league after 3 matches.

We will still qualify.
 
if Scotland qualify and England dont they will never let us forget it

That's a disastrous result. We've only succeeded in papering over the cracks in the last few games and we've been found out. That display was awfully similar to every other important game we've seen in England in recently, trying to hold on to a 1-0 or a 0-0, it's never worked and it never will!

Err, except they've got through to the final again against all odds? Except the fact that no country has ever successfully defended the RWC?
