Nintendo Wii Console & Wii Sports + Remote + Nunchuck
CO-000-NI_400.jpg

Nintendo's Wii video game system is designed to attract people, regardless of their age or video game experience, to sit down and play together - whether they're in the same room or on different sides of the globe. As with every new console release, much of the buzz surrounds the specs. The system boasts 512 MB of internal flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports, and a slot for SD memory expansion. Instead of a tray, Wii uses a single, self-loading media bay that will play both 12cm optical discs used for the new system, as well as Nintendo GameCube discs. The real revolution in this system, though, is its controller, called the Wii Remote. Shaped like a TV remote, it's been designed to be easily used by beginners and pros alike. Sensors determine the Wii Remote's position is in 3D space, which means that racing-game steering and a tennis swing, for example, are done through movements of your hand rather than by just your thumbs. What's more, a tiny speaker built into the Wii Remote promises some interactive surround sound experiences. The controller also has a force feedback "Rumble" feature and an expansion port for use with accessories, such as the Nunchuck, which adds an analog thumbstick and trigger buttons. The Wii Remote communicates via the Bluetooth wireless standard and up to four remotes can connect to Wii. Each Wii will come with a game compilation called "Wii Sports," including tennis, golf, baseball and bowling games, that will show off the console's intuitive new controller.

- A compact design that can be displayed vertically or horizontally
- The Wii is backward-compatible to all Nintendo GameCube games and includes four ports for controllers and two slots for memory cards
- The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via wireless or a Wii LAN adaptor, allowing users to surf the net from the comfort of their couch
- Within the Wii there is an old-school console packed with classic games. Users have downloadable access to 20 years of games
- Gamers can create caricatures which can be used in a range of titles
- Please note that this is european stock with a uk 3 pin plug adapter and english manuals

***We have a confirmed delivery date of 24th October 2007 and have 500+ units arriving, be quick***

Price: £199.99+VAT (£234.99 Inc. VAT)

BUY NOW!!

Look around, that's much cheaper than most other retailers. I've checked a few and they're £250 and upwards.

I think they'll sell like hot consoles :)

bit dodgy bumping the price tho :)

Hi there

We've never sold Wii's before!!

We are selling these because we know they are in huge constraint as in not available anywhere. The people who do have stock and can get stock are charging HUGE PREMIUM's.

There are other places with stock who are even more expensive than OcUK!

Hi there,

fairplay to you gibbo for securing 500 units, and yes i know other retailers are adding a lot more on than this but just doesnt seem in the ocuk way but as you say theres worse out there and its a sellers market

So do OcUK have to pay more because of the shortage? Hence the price hike (not just by yourselves of course)

And the clock is running on how long it will take for poley's post to disapeer...

EDIT: 2 Minutes. very impressive Dons, glad to see you're awake!

I'll now shut up and let this thread return to the topic...

PK!

Hi there

Yes unfortunately we do have to pay more and its quite a lot more too, because anyone with Wii's know they can pretty much charge what they like for them.

Some online Etailors are charging £50 more than OcUK and shifting 50+ units per day.

I think people are missing the point of capitalism. If demand is higher than supply the price will go up, if the price set is unreasonable people won't buy them. Just because there is a MSRP doesn't mean it has to be adhered to.
