I agree, in fact I have pretty much had the same policy since Mclaren has been manager.
Jose would be so good..but the FA would never do it as he is very much his own man

On one hand you have people on here slating Chelseas style of play now you all want him for England manager
Then most of you dont want fat Frank playing and then you want a manager in that loves him
Most of us hate the long ball up to the forwards and you want a manager who plays un-entertaining boring football.
I hope it is someone like Jose because then when we still suck 9 games out of 10 they can start actually looking at the players.

If Mourinho was in charge we wouldn't be playing any worse football than we have been playing in the last few years, all we want to see is results and some passionate displays from the players.
Also, people don't want Lampard playing because he's been poor, if Fat Frank started reproducing his games to goal ratio he's had for Chelsea the last 3 seasons everyone would be happy to see his name on the team sheet.
I reckon Allardyce would have been brilliant for knock out cup footie .. just grind the results out .. sod style .. Wenger would be really poor IMO .. that kind of attractive football isn't going to win a trophy or get you close, especially with the players we have .. grind it out please .. lets take a leaf out of the book of previous cup winners e.g. Germany, Italy, Argentina .. hold the ball .. especially in bloody hot conditions ..

They need a manager who will:
1. Teach them to pass the ball to each other tightly, and not kick the ball into nowhere in the hope someone from the same side gets it.
2. Improve the defending and goalkeeping!
3. Teach them not to get the first goal and then attempt to defend for the rest of the game, which makes the opponent team more determined to score. They should get the first goal and go all out for getting another thus keeping their opponents defending all the time!

Apart from Big Sam , McClaren, BBC pundits, David Platt, Sammy Lee (for you Ripper lol). Are there any other good Englishmen who would be a good choice ?.

To be honest I'd rather have a foreign manager .. someone who can take an impartial view and sling out all this passion and heart bull people keep going on about .. passion and heart doesn't win games .. using that thing between your ears and making the right decisions at the right times does ..
Why does the manager have to be English? Pretty narrow minded attitude - that why we are in are current Mclaren debacle now.
