I started playing casually about 5 months ago. Playing a human mage (lvl 43) on the balnazzar server.

Really enjoying it but finding it hard to get groups for instances. Just wondering whether anyone else plays on here.

lvl 70 BE Warlock on Kul Tiras.

At the moment I am pretty much finished with kara, just need 1 or 2 more items and then help the guild progress onto gruul's lair.

Quit 1 Month ago and i am loving the freedom, i had a 70 undead mage with Full Season 2 Gladiator Gear, Level 70 human rogue with Grand Marshall Gear, 42 blood elf paladin, 53 undead rogue, 37 undead preist, 61 Druid. Played since beta and was great untill it took over my life.

dont join a raiding guild unless you have no exams!

dont join a raiding guild if you have a GF and other after work/school commitments lol. If you want to get the top end purple gear you need to REALLY put the time into your guild runs and the time spent learning new encounters its a pure life eater.

Personally I loved the leveling up and doing the odd bit of endgame at 60 before tbc was here. Since TBC was released a lot more of the content seems purely aimed at hardcore players which tbh is quite irritating.

I really enjoyed 3 day raiding a week with 40 people, many people think 25 is great! but i loved going to raid with 40 people, as long as they were all focused and had pots ready.

i quit a while back, but for some unknown reason, im REALLY craving to play it again, but im holding out strong, just cant be bothered with the whole commit your entire life to get decent stuff, do miss my chars though

Got a level 63 UD Priest on Kilrogg and slowly leveling to 70, maybe I'll finally get to max level before they increase it again? ;)

I'm only playing it as a time-filler though until something else like Age of Conan or Warhammer Online comes out.

I still play, although I'm considering a break for a while after some guild drama. I enjoy leveling, so I have 3 70s, but only one has even half decent gear or rep with like anyone. I've been raiding once or twice a week, mainly helping out my guild because I'm done in Kara. We downed Gruul for the first time on Sunday, which was really cool :).

After a stutter about 3 or 4 months back, I'm enjoying it as much as ever. I have plenty of free time outside of work and few commitments however.

got an undead rogue to lvl 64 and then a drenai priest to lvl 23 and quit. I remember what was the last straw for me: Got another one of those 'collect 20 of X for me' quests and the drop rate was about 10% i think. That was it. I threw my head back, screamed, logged, and have never been back.

There was a lot of things that were starting to niggle up to that point; that fact that you always had to have a better weapon, better geared - and to get it would just be a life drain etc etc etc. Then I started to resent the fact that I was paying for it as well.

It just started not being enjoyable.

It was great leveling my first character - one of the best game play experience I have had really. However, doing it again just did not appeal. Enjoyed my time there but am so glad I got out.

So many decent single player RPG's on the horizon I do not feel drawn back to it at all. Even with the new expansion coming out.

I still play and raid about 3 times a week, I do enjoy it but I do look forward to something new.

Next patch 2.3 should be a good one for people leveling up as it will allow you to get to 60 a lot faster...according to the patch notes. Plus it brings a new instance as I'm pretty bored of kara it will be nice.

I quit about a year ago.

Level 60 Orc Shaman with full tier 1 set.

Stopping was quite possibly the best decision I ever made. I didn't find end-game content to be particularly fun or stimulating and my obsession and pursuit of purple items was probably a bit obsessive and mental (which is the case for most non-casual WoW users IMO).

My girlfriend was also very pleased when I stopped! :D

Kinda the same, if you don't give yourself an achivable goal in the game then it can very easily take over. If you goal is to be number 1 or just to get amazing epix gear then your going to have to invest a stupid amount of time doing it which mainly involves doing repeated things until your a brain dead zombie (imo).

Personally I went and explored every area, completed pretty much all solo quests and some of the group ones then said to myself I'll stop for a while once I got two 81dps epic daggers (easily achivable target :p). So I got the daggers, logged out, and haven't logged in for the last 5 weeks.

It's great having time to play other (usually more fun) games, loving Stalker atm.
