Made a blog recently, and I thought I'd share it with you.

What's it about? Well I dunno - mad idea that has made itself into a blog!

I'm seeking rich people (like spie ;)) to lend me their high life!

Top goals would to be let a top apartment or given a sports car, but you have to accept whatever is given don't you...

Think I'm suffering from an identity problem, not happy etc. Seeking ways to get out of that rut.

So I here by call upon you ocuk'ers to give a helping hand...Got any free tickets to shows, theme parks, whatever to help me get out of my house and see the world!!!!!!!! (well, England anyway)

No chance you'd lend me your 911 is there Spie? Sure it would help boost my self esteem no end ;)

:p

So you want people to 'lend' you stuff because you have arthritis? No offence but isn't this sort of thing more closely related to pretty much certain death illnesses? :p

LOL, possibly, but you still get to help someone in 'need' so job done really...:p

I've read it and I disagree on the point that money matters, I don't think it does really. It does to the extent that you can live and pay bills etc but beyond that I don't think money means a lot. Being happy beats having money and money does not buy happiness.

Money buys cool stuff that facilitates happiness.

Exactly!

Jodie - I suppose I am JUST living, but I wouldn't go on to say I'm enjoying it.

PS. Fox - STOP telling people I've only done 300 miles in 6 months!

Its actually 600 :p

I disagree. "Stuff" doesn't facilitate happiness imo.

Sure it does. How can you not agree?

Buy holiday. Enjoy holiday. Happiness ensues.

Money doesn't neccesarily buy happiness, if you are a miserable so and so you always will be, but you can get a heck of a lot of happiness out of cash.

To be honest with you I woudn't look for "things" to make myself happy but for a way of life. You need to look inside yourself to make you happy. Once you're happy with the person you are then things get a lot easier I think and it's easier to get out and enjoy things and meet people.

Lets consider a hypothetical situation.

All your money just vanished. Gone. No more. You also won't get any more for another year.

You really think you'll be just as happy?

If you were given £1,000,000 right now you'd be much happier, right?

Not necessarily no.

I just don't agree. I've never been that interested in money and so I can't understand why people thing that way about it. I can see how money can make things easier but not happier as you're still the same person inside.
