If you were to invite a foreigner to the country who didn't want to go to London, were would you advise to them out of the following:

Leeds
Sheffield
Newcastle
Liverpool
Manchester

Sorry if I haven't included your city but I feel like these are a key 5, obviously I'd be quite biased to say Leeds but that needs backing up, and I can't really offer a fair representation due to not being out in 3 from the list, what has each city got going for it above the next? the people? the variation? ta.

manchester
sheffeild
newcastle

never been to liverpool and probs wont either

leeds for a night out with the lads, why? clubs and bars everywhere plenty of talent around

manchester, similair but bit too far to travel

sheffield, girls are easy if im allowed to say that
 
Leeds and Newcastle are much of a muchness really. I chose Leeds because it is the one I know best and the one I'd be able to provide someone the best night out for their tastes in. Newcastle is a very close 2nd, Liverpool a distant third - the good bits are too expensive.

Manchester and Sheffield are joint. Both are poor nights out.

my oppinions (i live 21mile from leeds, 25 from manchester)

Liverpool - Too many street chavs at night causing trouble (no offence)
Manchester - A good night out if you know where to go
Leeds - A nicer place in the day than night but alright tho
Sheffield - Too many murders
Newcastle - Never been

Allso Bradford which isnt on the list - More civilised and can have a good night out there without too much idiots about.


I voted leeds btw.

Ahhhhhhh that post burnt my eyes, I am yes an inhabitant of Hull I love the place but yes my post was meant to be funny, although once when I was on Ferry leaving Hull it looked really good :)
 
Hull are great for ferrys(to rotterdam)

Everyting else i think they fail at

Anyway, Manchesters nightlife is quality, bit dangerous in some places

Family say Leeds is awesome
 
Manc all the way.

They can get all the world's prisoners and scousers and put them in Liverpool and build 100m high, electrocuted walls around as far as I'm concerned.

Don't really care much about the others.

I've been for a night out in Newcastle everything was much more spread out!
