i'd go for 64bit vista if i was to use it...you get all your memory and 64bit apps should fly along....a few of the guys here seem to be using it and loving it.
your key should work for both 32bit and 64 so no harm in trying...unless its oem then maybe not.
im going to install it myself soon as a dual boot and see what its like. i tried the 32bit version and wasnt impressed....mouse always felt a touch laggy in games(ok in bioshock ).
You actually bought a physics card? ...... anywayyyy... go 64-Bit. Never had any trouble with it since day of release, and find it quicker at most things over XP Pro, like software loading times. And no point having 4GB otherwise, plus most 32-Bit software will only use up to 2GB.
I was running 64, but found that only about 50% of what I wanted to run, actually ran. Couldn't get any of the trackmania games to run at all, and other stuff just ran badly.
windows vista is what came with the pc, so if i was to upgrade to 64 bit will it be compatible with my system - i dont think its oem ... lol havnt got a clue how to find out if it is lol ? (sorry i dont know much about os)

Sounds like you got some pre made pc, most of them come with about 10 virus scanners and all other crap addware progs installed. If I was you I would get 64bit ultimate and do a fresh install (full format).
I got about 10fps in TF2 when using both 32/64 vista. I dunno if it was my asus mobo or my 7800gtx, but something didn't like it - so I went back to xp. Nice half a day wasted there!
