I've been looking to get my self a dual or quad core pentium, i have a 5200x2 AMD AM2 at the momment.

It's just too slow even over clocked to 3GHZ, i don't play games that often, how ever when i do i run games at top settings on a 12x10 min screen res.

Was think about this board http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-004-EA&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=

But not sure on what CPU, i do overclock, but just when i'm bored or need extra power

Any help as i'm an AMD boy by heart....

Also just noticed that it doesn't say what size the tubes are...

I'm confused by this? What on earth would you want a board like this? The first question you have to ask yourself is; Are you going to be watercooling your system? If not, then don't bother.

The second question is if you are not gaming, what are you using it for?

I disgree with you on the 5200x2.. It's a fine CPU.. it maybe that your Graphics card is slowing your system down. You haven't posted your specs so it's a bit hard to comment.

Let's put it this way, I've a dual core 4400+ runing at 2.8GHz with 2GB RAM and an 8800GTX.. I can run BioShock at 1920 with highest settings without a clitch or a frame judder.

ooops yer, i had total for got how slow my card is compared to the new 8000's, as i'm on a 7800 GS in SLi

LOL, gonna get my self a 8800 BFG watercooled then.....

Sorry not much sleep had this weekend

lol

I think that mobo is far too overpriced for what it is... jack up the price £200 just for 3 waterblocks... buy the motherboard and black seperately and you'll save £100!!!

As for CPU... Best value for money is the Q6600... and with water you will easily get to 3.6GHz with it when you want some extra power.

gonna get me a BFG, if that donesn't help the gaming then i shall sell the board and cpu, and get my self a nice shinny board.

Wanted watercooling for the whole thing so i was cool and quiet as it were, also cause i think that kinda stuff is porno !!

I dream in GHz !!!

If you are saying that you want to stay AMD that board would be incompatible.

Personally i would go with a Q6600, DS3R, Geil RAM and a Tuniq Tower.

Q6600 (OEM) - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-172-IN - £159.79
DS3R - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-086-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat= - £76.36
2Gb Geil RAM - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-058-GL - £37.59
Tuniq Tower - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-SB - £32.89

Total - £306.63
Inc shipping - £316.32

(im too lazy too screenshot)

You may have DDR2 from your current system and also make sure that your PSU is up to scratch.

They are simply not worth it, if you did want one you would have to buy a watercooling kit aswell to get full effect, it would be better to get the Ocuk 8800gtx

all ready got a water cooling kit, was gonna change the AMD back to air cooled and have it as my work horse rather than my games machine.
