Damn...!!!

i still cant get 4 x 1gb of crucial to work in all 4 slots
both sets of duel stick will work on there own but they won't work together, boohoo

i guess i will have to wait for another bios update and see if that works, 2gb is good for now, but it would be nice to have 4gb working

That is pretty grim that you can't manage to get all four of your sticks to work in your board, I would have thought that the combination of Crucial in a Gigabyte x38 board was a 'safe' option...?

I have all 4 sticks working ok here, using F3 , F5G , F5H

2.0v but i can only run them at auto (currently 480FSB) If i try and use 2.5 divider it will reboot 3 times and reset. This never happened with F3 and any bios with the P35 DQS i had before this board

I know there is a newer bios out F5I too, http://rs44.rapidshare.com/files/64609953/X38DQ6.F5I

Although i will wait for it to show up on Gigabyte's server

Im ok here with 4gig of ballistix.

However I just re installed Vista 64 mobo came shipped with F4 bios....

4 gig shows up fine.

What OS are you using?

I've got a powerdown problem on my GA-X38-DQ6 and have been advised to install F5h, not too keen though. My system is working fine apart from the power-down problem.

I might try F5 when it comes out of Beta.

I have upgraded my X38 to Bios F5H and all works fine so far , always sceptical about performing these upgrades since problems on a previous P35 board caused boot problems. Havent seen any differences in memory benchmarks to prove what changes have been made to the bios.
