Number not recognised :(
Bah humbug, sorry. I used a site called 192.com which we can use at work to find numbers. Maybe they got so many calls they've changed/disconnected the number.

Did it work ?? cause i'm coming to the end of my contact and am wanting this or rthe 850i

had a play with the n95 and it seemed slow and clunky in the OS

Nah, I think it does nothing at all - its a bit of a rumor. The N95 8Gb is far quicker than the N95 - however for a smartphone the N95 was quite zippy.

Well the boot up is definately quicker and my friend reckons he can notice some speed difference but I don't know if its a placebo or not.

A SIM Free model is going to be at least £400 though, which is approaching your contract buyout amount.

£499 I hear :(

My buyout amount is £420.

Then I'd have to pay £150 for the 8GB phone which gives a total of £570.

I reckon I'll be able to grab a sim free phone in a week or so for less than that, and stick with Orange.

I used to be with Vodafone but found I had reception problems at home, which annoyed me no end and was part of the reason I switched.

My god phone shops are awful.

Now trying CPW. Can I simply ring a number and a guy at my local shop picks up? No way.

I'm on hold to some random call centre and have been for 22 minutes. I only want to know if they've got any left!

Edit: They answered, and dont actually sell Vodafone. Which means the guy in the shop I spoke to who said he was getting 'loads' in stock on Friday was.. a liar. Great.

I suspect if you call up on Friday you will find customer service agents will know more - until then they will try and blag you off like usual. Rest assured its out on Friday on Voda.:)

popped into my local voda store today and picked one up for £150 on a £35 a month plan, not had a chance to play with it yet still letting it charge :( although I was the only person to go in and buy one today and they had plenty of stock

as above it was the same prices as quoted on their site, had a chance to have a little poke around now its charged and i found a full version of spiderman 3 which was nice of them :D

I didnt say it was small - just that it certainly isnt a brick.

It depends how you feel about such things, it's huge if you ask me, brick sounds bad, but it *is* big. Yes it does a lot, but its still huge. Especially the N95 8GB since it has a decent sized battery this time as well...

If youd agree that the K750i was a brick then I'd see sense in what you are saying. Yeh sure its big its a capable smartphone as you mentioned (the 8b version is 1mm thicker). It maybe that as an owner of an N95 for 8 months I got used to it. I'd consider a brick a Tytn III, ie most HTC phones for that matter. But it depends entirely what people want I guess.

by the way guys the Voda version has VOIP disabled - this can however be avoided by installing Fring.

The K750 is a good bit smaller. The N95 is nearly 1cm wider.
