Naughty bad habits..

How can it be the fastest car ever in the police force? They have numerous BMW and Mercedes vehicles with 155mph top speed, and of course the Vectra VXR that Mr Whatsit got into trouble for testing.

Do they mean quickest? I love the Daily Mail..

"As far as I know it probably is the fastest quoted speed of any police car I know of - certainly in the South East region," he said.

"Its top speed is just shy of 150 mph which is what most of our patrol cars can do anyway."

lol make your mind up

It'll get to 150mph first though, and will defo handle better than anything else on the force :P

I'd love to be able to do that but I would imagine learning is difficult and the margin for error is particularly small.

Go to a track day/drift practice day then...Even taking some skidpan lessons will help.

...you could always buy something low-powered, low-weight, old and on skinny tyres...Great for learning about sliiiiides at 20mph in the wet.

Mine is going into 2nd whilst turning into a road and just nailing it :D

Hardly loose any sort of grip since getting my new rubber on though.

He added the car was not not an operational police car and unable to get involved in high speed chases: "The idea is that drivers will come to us and have a chat," he said.

"We generally turn up at events where youngsters hang out.

"With this vehicle they actually come over and want to talk to us. Then we introduce the road safety message."

£35k lemon then

Sometimes when I see a prius I change down a gear or two to make up for the little change on the environment they're making, depends how childish I'm feeling at the time (99% :p)

Absolutely nailing it sometimes.

Hehehehe :D

Trying to set off as many car alarms as possible. Blipping the throttle at pedestrians (mainly because the majority of them approve).

'bout my only vices.

Enough so that when I start it from cold, in say, a multistory, I can typically set off not only the two cars next to me, but the 3 directly behind, plus any more sensitive ones nearer by :p

I miss it so but it's more powerful, quicker replacement should be here sometime soon hopefully!

my golf has a partial omp motorsport group N system, the group N part means that it will meet the FIA noise regs etc (98dB)... well it would do if it still had 3 silencers, it now only has 1 haha

Coming up sliproads flat out, in the hope that someone will see me coming at the top, pull over or flash me out, only for me to be far enough ahead for their actions to be of any use.

Put a mahoosive smirk on my face every time.

To be fair yours isn't the most suitable to learn in, yes the margin for error is a lot smaller in a big car like that.

I coast too much. Whenever I see a red light up ahead or stationary traffic I just pull it out of gear and let it roll to a stop. I'm well aware it uses more fuel this way but I can't stop doing it for some reason!

And at the moment I'm paying more for fuel weekly than my rent is:eek:
