8800GT on O/C Shop

Is the 8800GT appeared on the Overclockers uk shop web site yet , so we can see what the price is gonna be.
As i have looked and cannot see it ,, but yet the other day i seen in a post a link to them on the shop site ,,but no prices, and yes now i cannot find that link again :S

I'm just wondering if OcUK will have stock enough for everyone, this demand is crazy? Selling my GTS for a good price tommorow and then going to stick with an extremely bad card for a while playing Eve Online only and then upgrade to either the new GTS or the GT once the prices have settled in.

Yes. Well most or those who want to. Some sites worldwide have listed as pre-order but will not ship till Monday.

I think there is 50,000 worldwide on Monday with 25,000 per week for the next two weeks.

Not a lot really for the amount of people who seem to want one.

I see already the bay sharks are in selling the basic standard clock vanilla 8800GT for £156 plus £15 postage.

Wait till tomorrow and you could get a EVGA/VFG pre oc'ed gt for that money.

ive got high hopes for these cards with aftermarket cooler on woot OC'S should be insane hopefully they oc aswell as the GTS'S
there was a rumor the GT has the same mounting system as a 7900 is this true?

well the chinese review said so and showed photos so who knows whether that's right

It looks to be the case that it does have the 7900/7800 etc sized mounting system... Now if only I hadn't spent so much on an HR-03 plus just a couple of months ago
