PES 08 - Online up and running yet?

As I am stuck at work for the next four hours could anyone tell me if the online game is up and running yet? I heard monday from someone on here.

If so whats it like?

If no...Why isnt it up and running? :(
 
Yeh I agree, I'd have rather they'd delayed the game tbh as the ps3 and 360 versions have some bad slowdown.

The pc version seems the best, especially as we'll be able to edit it a lot better.
 
Yeah once the kit patch comes out this will be great online and off. I am struggling to play this as well as the last version though.

When I put in my controller settings, they dont seem to match up with the controller on screen.

Is there a certain controller for this game that is recommended? I just have a cheap pad at the moment.
 
Well I'm using my wireless 360 pad with the pc wireless gaming reciever which you can get for a tenner.

Apparently you can use the ps3 pad aswell. But I think the 360 pad is the recommended controller. It recognises it automatically and all the on screen button icons are the 360 ones.
 
I haven't got it for the PC this year but if I did, I would rather wait until they do the online aspect properly than rush it like someone said above me, if you had Pro Evo 6 for the PC last year, it took like 3mins to load into each section, a total of about 7 or 8mins to get a game going, then without a doubt, when you enter the half time menu the game disconnected, did this for about 2 weeks, was frustrating to say the least :)
 
Just played my first game as Liverpool and got beat 4-2. Ran ok for the most part but we both suffered from some nasty lag, didnt affect the outcome but there were some annoying moments where players warped about a bit. Im off to avenge my defeat :).

Avenged! very tidy 2-1 win with Sweden against Turkey.

Just played my first game. Arsenal Vs Barcalona. I was Arsenal and won 3-1. It was a bit laggy though which is to be expected. Hope that improves though.

Can you play with more than one player on the same computer? It only looks like 1v1 at the moment. Where are the group games?
 
Just installing this now, seems to be taking an awful long time! How long did it take to install for you guys?

You can only play 1v1 unfortunately online.

I had a few games earlier and even though it had all 3 bars for ping the connection was still really laggy. Hope they sort it out soon.

Took about 5-10 mins if I remember correctly, is it taking a lot longer for you?
 
ive had 4 games now and everyone has been lost to connection half way through game,hope it gets better when the patch comes out later in the week

Sounds more like cheating. I have found that the english connection rates to be the lowest. My best match is with the Germans at the moment.

Still gutted that you can only have 1v1 on online play.
 
Windows didnt pick my Xbox360 pad up so I had to use an XB thingy driver which has turned out to be rubbish, now I have no RB/LB buttons :(:(:(
