The video is not rigged. It is absolutely incredible, sometimes she turns clockwise, sometimes anti-clockwise. You can see both.

If you're having trouble seeing what I mean. Let yourself watch it and note which way she is spinning (or as your brain naturally perceives it). Pause it at the bit were she puts one leg up at a right angle to you as the viewer. Now, mentally imagine it is her OTHER leg which is up. Play and she will change direction.

It's cool, recently saw it on Diggnation, I got her to turn both ways, it takes a while at first. When you see her going anti-clockwise, her left leg is the one sticking forward.

I usually first see it as clockwise, then if I concentrate I can imagine it being counterclockwise. It's pretty cool despite its ancientness.

EDIT: And for the record, it's better rendered as a .swf or a .gif. ;)

Ditto, but then again I'm considered mentally healthy. I think you need to be on the same level as Angus Higgins to see it spin counter clockwise.

The same(level) as Angus(Higgings[Whom created{and named} the bracket system or bracketing system{himself}])? What does that mean?(Being on the same Level as Angus(Higgings[Whom created{and named} the bracket system or bracketing system{himself}])?

Hasn't this been posted as a gif several times before, witout the annoying music?

I can 'make' the silhouette turn whichever way I want by concentrating on the central foot. It's all to do with your brain interpreting the 2d image that is simply moving side to side as a 3d spinning object if I remember correctly.

Clockwise, then at times she actually spins the other way. No illusion for me just she does
actually change direction and it aint my brain! haha

I can do both :(

But i can also drink and completely ignore all grammatical usage of any punctuation whatsoever and still not care :)

Oh and i actually know it makes it worse for the reader :p

took me about 3 mins to 'switch', but now i can make her go both ways by just thinking about it!

amazing!

Look at her central foot and watch, when you think the foots coming forward just think no
its going back and she will change direction at will.

V nice indeed
