just had my front window smashed by little kids...

Wow, growing up in Canada sure was different. Everyone over there did the whole trick or treat thing. There was very little vandalism if only because the streets were so packed of children and parents. There was the occasional egging and TP-ing of course but not very common at all. It was also VERY rare that you found a house that did not give you something. The general rule was if the lights were on, you knocked on their door.

I remember trying to buy some eggs in a shop on halloween before (my parents had sent me out for them for breakfast the next morning) and the clerk wouldn't sell them to me on account of it being halloween and me being 12 or 13 years old.

A kid does something that a quick hose or bucket of water can sort out in the morning and your threatening to assault them  (I say threatening as the majority no doubt don't even have the balls to take on a child and are all talk)

Will the hose/bucket of water remove the scratches/dents on car body panels?
And of course nobody's going to take on a child, if they were to even shout "get back here" or similar they'd probably be arrested and have their face tarred on the front page of The Sun with the headline EVIL!

normaly kids that affect others = tarded parnets
thats why i said , they have sex then shocked there pregnant , lolllllllllllllll
its this stupidness thats causes problems in the world , its like there blind

Seriously look at how you write and spell before you go bandying around that word "retarded", or well in your case "tarded".

Nope. Wasn't funny in the first place to be honest.

It is still around. They even released a new version called BeanoMAX this year.

The fact they slit the orange clearly indicates to me that they were doing their best to reduce it's impact and had your windows not been so damn flimsy it would have served it's purpose ie exploded on impact!!

And all you people threatening to assault children for merely egging your car/house need to have a reality check, how pathetically materialist and childish do you wanna be? A kid does something that a quick hose or bucket of water can sort out in the morning and your threatening to assault them  (I say threatening as the majority no doubt don't even have the balls to take on a child and are all talk)

Can I have your address please mate? I'm sure I can get a few things together to throw at your window to annoy you. I'll shove a firework through your door, and egg your car.
If your window breaks, you wont mind... I only meant to annoy you after all and not break it - and it's your fault for your windows not being strong enough.

If your car gets scratched, or part of the exterior gets damaged then... to be honest why aren't you driving a tank?

If your carpet catches fire, then more fool you for not covering it in sand to stop it from catching fire.

Are you going to pay the hundreds of pounds to fix the car windscreens or to have a new carpet laid because the present one is torched due to a firework being shoved through the letterbox? I love how you try to pass the blame off onto the owner for having "flimsy windows"! Perhaps when you're of a mental age to appreciate the value of your own property you'll understand, until then STFU!

Were talking about an ORANGE being thrown here NOT cars being smashed, keyed, fireworks put through letterboxes, bricks/stones through windows ...etc ...etc

The reason they slit the orange no doubt is because on previous trick or treating they simply bounced off windows/doors/walls (hence the assumption your window is particularly weak). So they slit it to make sure it splattered on them. You lot are talking as if THEY MEANT TO BREAK HIS WINDOW:rolleyes:

The person that stormed to the front door and told a load of kids that were trick or treating to No Swearing - K OFF is telling me too grow up:rolleyes: lol, yeah whatever mate.

Not being clued up on oranges as throwing implements, surely the slit would make it more likely to smash a window as there'd be no bounce?

I don't understand your view point Jason, I assume you've never been or do not know any victims of vandalism? It's can be a bloody effort and an expense cleaning up or fixing any damage caused by little ***** after they've had their fun...
How do you know they didn't mean to break the window? Anything mildly solid has the ability to break glass, which people still don't understand despite. Just because they aree kids does not mean they should be let off with criminal damage.

We are maybe making the assumption that they meant to break the window, or they were simply being annoying little *****. You are making the assumption that they are great little kids just out having a laugh and who meant no harm to anyone.

Im sure your only saying things like ths to get a reaction, no normal person can agree that anyone, throwing, anything at windows and car windscreens is a good idea. Unless of course its ok for us adluts to get oranges, put a slit in them of course and go round throwing them at kids, as its ok for kids to throw things at windows, so im sure no harm will come of it...

Then again, these are the same kids who reck my pen every weekend, and the same parents who say its my fault for having a nice pen, of course the children want to play in it and rip it to shreds, its what kids do... hmmmm..

To the person in Canada, over here if you were refused sale of eggs, the kids here would push over displays, cry rape, human rights and the shop keeper would be forced to pay you £1000 for hurt feelings and give you 4 eggs everyday for free for life, thats how protected the little angels are over here...

Maybe kids should only knock on doors of people they know and not every house in the street begging for sweets and money.. Then again, if they kids want it, i guess they have to have it..

Love the people in here condoning throwing ANYTHING at windows. Its allowed just because its Halloween?

Same with Penny for the Guy now. It's no longer about kids getting a bit of money, It's kids making up cash in order to buy a packet of cigarettes. That seems to be the case around here anyways. They don't even put effort into their Guy fawkes, lol

Oh, because they didn't mean to break the window, that's ok then is it? Get real. I can't honestly believe that you can defend a group a kids smashing a window, intentionally or not. I'm damn certain you wouldn't have the same view if your own window got smashed in the same way.

Yes, kids acting like little ****s sometimes is unavoidable, and understandable to a degree. How you can go and condone it though it just daft, and smacks of immaturity/idiocy.
