sure i saw on tv might have been modern marvels about them having a huge warehouse still full of parts from the original one.

Me too, i'd even drive one round that looked like the BTTF car, infact id rather drive the BTTF car than a standard one!

Why? It was a horrific monster of design the 1st time round? Although it was pure genious, as scams go.
Cars don't have to be "good" to be iconic.
If you can't see why someone would want a DeLorean, then evidently its not the type of car for you.
