Can they break internally? They press, or don't press, the right keys etc even though the exterior is almost brand new?

Saitek Eclipse, it spams 'asasasasasasasasasas' and other random keys but my old Saitek keyboard doesn't. Both are USB :(

If it's two characters repeated then it seems that there's something buggered in the actual circuitry rather than stuck keys. If it were knackered key contacts it'd just spam a single key.

Have you spilt anything on it? Could be keys sticking.

Yeah my partner decided to throw a cup of steamy tea all over my old keyboard. Despite my best efforts to revive it, it was a gonner. Course she didn't tell me, I had to ask why all the keys were playing up! I don't even let her on my PC these days. :P

It is in his signature albeit the green doesn't help readability, 2x8800GT in SLi. :)

Sinque, I think Zefan is probably right, the circuitry is probably gone, I had a similar problem with a mates laptop keyboard and all that could be done was replacing the keyboard itself.

I find the green easy enough to read?? I'll change it just for you :p
But yes 2x880GTs :)
A new keyboard is cheap enough to buy, I'm not one for really expensive keyboards/mice etc, mine was £20 and it's perfect for me (though a logitech G "whatever" backlit one would be nice).

currently selling my g15 for 45 including postage in sale area;)

Dang you for tempting me Jimmy!
Must decline though; MOT at the end of the month, plus Xmas - end of this year is a financial nightmare for me. :(
