I have nearly 2000 hours played, and i haven't had it installed for the past few TF2 sessions, WoW makes up most of my played time but i don't play that anymore

I have about 3500 hours on WoW :( over 2.5 years of a game that can absorb all your free time can rack up some serious playing :(
Glad I play some other games not just wow!

My xfire states 952 hours, but that doesnt includes 2 years of raven shield at 35-40 hours a week, over the last few years ive probably racked up well over 3500 hours. Havent really touched the PC since last december, so then you need to add PS3/360 times too.

The most I have seen is a friend of mine with 5,598 hours in Eve. And yes, he has a life. He's been in the army and is currently training to be a teacher. Eve makes WoW look like a kids toy when it comes to "time sink" :)

on wow i have clocked up 178days of gaming. I have 4 x lvl 70 and working towards getting my other 3 alts to lvl (various lvl's)

That is 4272 hours alone. since feb 05

Look, i'm not just posting to be Devil's Advocate... but all you people posting and telling that guy to get a life and go outside.. who the hell do you think you are? Do you even know him? Have you got any idea who he is or anything about him? Seriously. Consider for a second a multitude of reasons why someone might be housebound. Perhaps he has a long term sickness like ME or CFS which prevents him from doing excercise for any period of time. Perhaps he is quite severely disabled and playing games and internet are his only real escape into the outside world? Only a few weeks ago a guy posted in GD asking for a 5k spec so that him and his disabled wife would play games as it was their only form of entertainment.

And you know, even if he is a perfectly healthy and capable person, what makes you high and mighty enough to tell people how to live their lives? Who are you to say what is right and what is wrong when it comes to living? At the end of the day, this lad is doing what he loves.. and you fault him for that? just because what he loves isn't good in your eyes does not mean he is wasting his life. Frankly i applaud him. I wish i could find something i loved and dedicate myself to it, whatever it is.

If you think sitting in an office from 9 - 5 with boring salty faced people and a stupid suit with a ridiculous tie (wtf even are ties.. they're just bits of material that hang... whats the point) then coming home, eating dinner and being too tired to do much else is a life, then good for you. Go do it. Or perhaps you'd enjoy stacking shelves in a warehouse for 8 hours a day. Whatever. The kid is obviously in a position where he has no commitments, and he is enjoying it. leave him alone.

[/touched nerve]

(for the record, i work in an office. i have a tie. yes, i hate the tie. If i didn't work in an office or have commitments, i dont think i would spend all day playing games. I would probably spend all day diving or sea fishing. Some people dont understand that either, but tbh, it's nothign to do with them)

If you ment me, then thanks, I think. I agree with you people should not tell other people how to live their lives.

Just so you know I am a perfectly capable and healthy person, I racked up 5k hours in wow when I was doing a very very slack college course and had miles of free time.

And I do have a full time job, 9-5 in an office.

Gaming is my passion and nothing anyone says is going to change that. Thank you :)

After 1851 hours of play, you still get to discover a map you've never been on, what a great game!

Yes, I know full well that isn't the case...

I doubt that, the map is not that big, I still havent got round to playing guild wars again yet lol.

cant think how many hours i did on diablo 2 in school holidays, i would play constant only stoping to get food and toilet, was going to bed at bout 6 am getin up at 4pm and just playing constant. did around 13 hours a day for 8 weeks. more addicting than wow.

I don;t even wanna think about my time played on things. i never have my xfire running at all but im gunna say 500+ CS1.6 300+ CSS and i had around 100 days on one of my WoW Chars and about 20~ on the other chars. But i did used to just leave myself logged in when i wasnt there till it logged me out. well ive seen the light anyway dont play games all that much now, but i have been playing TF2 a bit recently
