School shooting in Finland and YouTube

That press pack he released was very comprehensive. I am pleased that the modern nutbar is so media-friendly.

Acid, thanks for posting the you-tube profile, it's blocked here at work and I was interested to read it. :)

Here we go with the 'oh look it's a loner' again. People like Kimver Geel and Cho had social problems because others shunned and bullied them. This guy, from what I can read, is no different. It's terrible to get a gun and start killing, but don't go thinking it's all entirely on them. Try to look at it from another perspective.

Sad to hear about this. Their first school shooting apparently... Hopefully any repeated incidents will be few and far between.

What I don't get is, when it happens in America,. BBC has nuermouse live broadcasts. 20 web pages. And there interviewing anyone and everyone and playing it in a loop.
Happens in Finland and we get half a page, with next to no information.

1) Only one person has died, from what I've gathered.
2) No one cares about Finland.

Basically.

Hmmmm. So it's not his fault then? Should we feel sorry for him being 'forced' into that position?

Where's the Youtube link?

All this stuff he has said about natural selection sounds very similar to what Eric Harris wrote in his journals.

No, we shouldn't feel sorry for him, and yes it is his fault. Stop trying to twist my words, I was saying that a lot of these problems come about from problems that such shooters face with regards to social aspects. The conscious decision to go on a rampage doesn't just go 'ping!' in a person's mind. What I am trying to say is that people do not try to look at why these people make that decision. There's been absolutely no real in-depth look into the background behind Geel or Cho's decision and their problems. It's a big oversight in my opinion.

In layman's terms - you bully me, I shoot you.

His Youtube name was Sturmgeist89, but the videos have been taken down by the looks of it. You can still view the video names/descriptions if you do a search for his username.

He also posted a few tributes to the Columbine shooters that he made.

Don't post the youtube link, it was removed from my original post so the mods don't want it here obviously.
