GEARS pc performance article

When Gears of War was seen on OCuK members' 360s before its EU release, posters had to explain where they got it from, or face suspension. It was happening a fair bit in the 'show your 360 setup' thread. Unless you can actually say where you got the game from, it's only fair PC users get the same treatment. It's not hard to say 'oh I imported' but some people here are deliberately squirming around the issue like Hazel Blears on a bad day.

Meh, who cares? even if the tbought it or downloaded it they aren't posting links or anything to illegal material accessible by ocuk memebrs so why cause such a fuss over it?

ive started to notice the games access is awful btw, this is the only game ive ever got such loading lag on around the lvls, its stutter, not really slowdown. sometimes ill go without it for ages, others there will be loads, ive defragged and everything as well.

agnes same here , getting a lot of stuttering going on... Witcher / UT3 / CRYSIS fine but this :(

Oh and bloodline joke is old now so no more you know what posts please ;)
 
You have 4GB ram too, I'll pick up my copy either today or tomorrow and see how that fairs out, I have 4gb ddr2 and a quad with 8800gt so I'm hoping I see none of these stutters since Crysis has absolutely no stuttering or loading lag etc (did you play crysis sp demo too?)
 
aye, ive played tons of the new games out, call of duty 4, crysis demo, unreal 3 demo, none of which stutter. but like i said, its not overly killing, just annoying sometimes.

Not had a s s ss stutter for a while in any game really and I expected Crysis to stutter a lot!
 
I did too, funny how the most intensive games are the ones not to stutter lol.

I think timeshift was stuttering on me too.

That kind of thing happens all the time in the consoles forum yet nothing ever seems to be done about it, you see people playing whatever new game that came out in america one day beforehand with no questions asked. They may not be posting pics of it but if their little xbox sig with games theyre playing shows theyre playing halo 3 6 hours after its US release date its obvious where it came from.

Also amazes me how many people just happen to have access to preview copies or review copies, seems when a new games about to hit practically everyone turns into a game reviewer and just happen to have access to all this.
