£4,400

Very happy, its the 130bhp

Very nice, not too keen on the wooden effect on the steering wheel but everything else looks great. Best colour as well .

Nice, I was looking for one like that before I got the beemer. All had massive miles on though so didn't bother as I do loads.

Looks like a nice example, hope you enjoy it :)

Surely it doesn't matter if they had massive miles on if you do loads?

these engines are rated well, its over 100k but its a 1 owner, straight from fleet with full detailed ford service history done under the terms of the leese.

Its immaculate. Prolly spent its whole life in 6th gear!

No because I don't want loads of problems and want to try and keep depreciation to a minimum so buy a below average miles car, bring it up to average then sell it.

Makes sense to me, probably what I'll do with my current motor... although I don't seem to be doing that many miles at the moment :)

Nice motor OP but I'm not a fan of the interior colour much prefer dark interiors myself (says the guy with 1/2 white seats and almost white carpets :o )

It doesn't work like that. In the last 6 months, the low mileage 530d has had more failures than my high mileage 530i.

Failures are different though.

I mean things that wear out. Suspension bushes, clutch, bearings, seals etc all things that wear out with mileage.

But age contributes as well. Your low mileage 318 won't need bushes at the same mileage as a high mileage 330d becuase the usage pattern is different.

i'd put that down to the petrol been a more reliable car in general, what failures were these?

Very true but its a 60k miler, i'll sell it before it hits 80k. Touch wood shouldn't need much doing to it other than routine servicing. My drive to work is just motorway now.

I know why some people would want a high miler car, just not for me.
