I got a £60 budget for an Inkjet photo printer. Needs to be able to use compatible inks. Card reader not required, but something that can print out documents and decent photos.

OCUK have a Canon Pixma iP3500 printer for £55.21 inc VAT
Any good ? I cannot seem to find compatible ink for it though

Any printer recommendations would be very welcome

Thanks!

Canons are very hard to find compatibles for, expecially the newer one. I would suggest an Epson R265 (or r285 if your budget can stretch), there was a revision of them in April so that they didnt recognise compatibles, but now newer compatibles have been developed (which now work with it) and are widely available.

Thanks chaps for the tears of laughter :D

Eddie thanks for the advice m8, will defo look into the Epsons

I disagree totally, I've always had canon printers and never struggled to find compatibles for them. But then I've never used any other compatible ink other than Jettec, never needed to look further than that..!!
