Yeh their was one mp map, forget which, that was tiny.....and their was like 30 players....it was absolute chaos lol.
Ranks are kept in the mpdata file inside your profiles folder.

The smallest map is terrible. You can just keep firing at the spawn point and rack up kill after kill.
That really is a very bad map, which is strange as the others are generally very well designed.
Does anyone have the exact directory for the MP stats? I'll be formatting soon.
Just finished it, Short game but is now up their with some damn fine titles, must complete this on Veteran mode now iv done it on Hard.
I also admit its the first game i have really got into and felt for the characters, truly fantastic is all i can say, so much variety in the missions, didnt ever feel repetetive.

Personally i find this game boring as hell in mp, plenty of left over bugs from cod 1 that were never fixed. Firre an rpg and you see it fire and get killed then you watch the killcam and the rocket never got launched...wtf is that all about? People spawning behind you in tdm 3-4 times in a row? 2 examples of left over crap from cod1 which iw stated way back then they would fix and never did.
I found free for all really pointless as it was basically, spawn anyway and spray anything! people then spawn behind you, not really good on a large level. I found Team Deathmatch good though. i wish their was some online co-op missions though.
Am tempted to get this but i have CoD and CoD United Offensive which i just can't get to run properly and that is with an 8800gt! I've tried and tried loads of different settings but the games play awful, can i expect nothing but the same from CoD4?

The people that are expereincing the crashing on punkbuster servers, are you running ATI tool or rivatuner?
If so they are your problem. Punkbuster have known about this for a good few months as it affected BF2 and COD2 as well - doesnt look like they've fixed it

I've just finished the "Death from above" mission. Quite possibly the most awesome mission I've played in any game.
Yozz, I would imagine this is a different engine to the others (you might want to check that out). I'm getting very good performance. Maybe there is a demo you can try?
