Fuel Protests.. bring it on!

Unfortuneatly this dictatorship, opps sorry I mean Government have made most types of fuel protests illegal. Any action that may cause the disruption of fuel supplying is now a criminal offence.

I very much doubt they will listen to anything else other than direct protest.
 
They are going to have to do something. There is a station by me charging £1.35/l for deisel. I hope that they have put the wrong number up but even the most illiterate spotty teenager should be able to tell the differance between a 0 and a 3!

Nooo not fuel protests :( Shortages will mean having to siphon the petrol out of my car and stick it into the more economical Polo mint :(

Phew, Thanks for the heads up, I just bought all the bread and milk from my super market and as much bottled water that I could. I had to fight off some people but it was worth it. I'm off to buy as much diesel and petrol that I can.
 
It is ridiculous at the moment though. I paid 105.9 per litre of Tesco 97 the other day. Last week it was 100.9 :(
 
I hope it happens becuase it did make a difference last time for a bit and given a tank of fuel lasts me a month, it wont really affect me.

However, it's less than unlikely that anything noticeable will take place.
 
A full tank lasts me around 3 day, i could squeeze a week out of it.

On the plus side, I could work from home and finish watching the Soprano's:p
 
I guess i'll be filling up on the way home! I'll only get a week out of it though :rolleyes:

Part of me wants something to come of this, as petrol prices are a joke. Then again, I don't really want the hassle of no fuel!
 
A relative in the haulage business says the plan being considered is to drive a number of artics into London without enough fuel to get back out so it causes gridlock when they run dry :eek:

lol ill make sure im on the bike that day, there is a well known ( well on tinternet ) plan / theory that if 5 lorries were to block 5 major routes into london the whole city would gridlock... interesting theory

it just goes to show that the last big fuel protest hurt the government, as they rushed through an addition to the criminal justice bill effectivly making it a criminal offence to carry out another fuel protest, i guess there have to be smarter ways of doing it with the same effect...
 
the PM has increased tax recently by 2p ish on fuel, obviously to compensate for smokers quitting since the ban. So now I am paying smoker tax and I dont even smoke:(

It really takes the **** when it costs MORE to fill up my 1litre micra than my mates 5.7 v8 chevy taho in texas
