Tesco gave me £10..

..because a piece of blue plastic was in my Tesco Mascarpone & Rocket Chicken Breast the other day. I took it in and they gave the money back and sent it off to head office, who sent £10.

Anyone else had a bit of cash for finding random things in their food or similar?

Mum found a huge piece of what we later found out to be malt, just a lump. Sent it off in wrapped in cling film and got £15 vouchers for a supermarket back.

I got £20 from Sainsbury's after chewing on a pubic hair found in a Waldorf salad ,have not been able to eat one since :eek:

I got £15 of vouchers after sending a seriously manky bag of walkers back to them. Was from a 26 pack that was BOGOF at the time worked out about 12p a bag, and when the vouchers arrived, I bought a heck of a lot of crisps with them

I got a tenner when I worked in tesco I threatened to complain about my manager when he was in a bad mood having a pop, but that wasn't off tesco per se.

There was mouse/rat poo in the cat food box we got from Tesco.

Took it straight back, they asked us to bring back the receipt..it was the same till person..about 35 minutes later.

My Dad found glass in a Tesco jam doughnut he was eating, and all he got was £10. He could have sued them.

My brother found a sharp bit of plastic in some chewing gum he sent it off to Wrigleys and got around 50 packets through the post in fancy presentation packs and a letter explaining what had happened etc

My uncle found a bit of dead mouse in a Mars/Marathon (way back in the day). I can't remember what happened, but he probably got free vouchers or something equally insulting!

I've found a couple dodgy spiders in the bananas at ASDA and a live wasp in a salad. I'm sure thats worth a few bob.

I work there btw.
