the game isnt even out yet. its like me making a far cry 2 official thread and just whacking in the video of it in the savannah and some random date.
What does it matter? The community stick togather and pop some fan sites some game info etc etc on. All this is filled with is spam from people MOANING nothing else. It gets boring. Why didnt the Offical FM2008 get spammed ? Oh right yeah a underboss made it,

Agreed - it is a pointless thread posted by someone wanting an 'I'm first' point. It's like being in kindergarten and saying "it's my birthday in 6 months do you want to come to my party?"

Because there is a point to be made in not starting up pointless *Official* threads.
Thing is, "official" threads started up before the game's release contain nothing more than reports and rumours we've already read months before when the pre-release hype build up started. On top of that, you've then got pages of:
"I've pre-ordered/ordered/bought/received/installed/downloaded/installed/wet my pants."
It should be about game experiences, engine, level design, neat cut scenes and set pieces, hardware/software woes etc...
The reason this thread, and other threads end up getting trashed is because OPs don't learn from others and end up making the same mistake as everyone else. I would have though the OP on this one would have learnt something from the way the Demo thread went

if you do a search you will see 16billion (fact - ive counted them) Crysis threads in the PC section , whereas FM08 has what maybe 2or3 ? ,,, Official threads seem to wind up a lot of users who already have contributed and discussed the game/topic to death already
